Network Engineer (m/f)

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Accountable for projects in the area of Production IT and Automation with regards to quality, costs and timelines
  • Ensure the availability of IT Operation and the running and maintenance of the existing PCT-infrastructure (Network, Server, Storage), including development and optimization
  • Develop, implement and support of IT access rights concept
  • Ensure IT- and Security Compliance
  • Operate, support, monitor and analyze local production IT- Infrastructure, including the active components (switches, firewalls, router)
  • Support dedicated Production IT systems (e.g. back-up infrastructure)
  • Coordinate IT for a close collaboration between IT- expert functions, Quality Assurance and production plants
  • Participate in on- call service to guarantee high system availability



Who you are

  • Master degree or similar in the field of Information Technology as well as work experience in the area of PCT / Automatisation Technology, preferably with professional expertise in the pharmaceutical industry and the application of GMP relevant guidelines
  • Highly skilled with regards to automation and PCT (e.g. Siemens S7, PCS7) and basic knowledge of superordinate control systems (e.g. MES, SAP)
  • Expertise in the administration of VMWare Virtualization Environments and MS Windows server systems
  • High degree of commitment and excellent communication skills
  • Team-minded, solution-oriented and assertive
  • Highly organized and good presentation skills
  • Fluent in both German and English (oral and written language skills)
