Analytical Development Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Lead the development, validation and transfer of analytical methods to enable the delivery of new herbal products
  • Support life cycle management activities for our Digestive Health Iberogast brand and other phytomedicine brands
  • Responsible for the operation of the analytical development laboratory ensuring state of the art technical capability, the implementation and maintenance of effective processes, equipment and systems
  • Manage the investment plan for the lab and lead investment project as needed
  • Lead the analytical team, provide technical leadership and ensure the training and development of the team
  • Contribute to the innovation in the herbal area and the development of new herbal products


Who you are

  • University degree in Life Sciences, PhD in analytical chemistry or related
  • Several years of experience in Phytomedicine company or FMCG/OTC industry
  • Track record of new analytical method development
  • Knowledge of GMP and GLP requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal leadership with a first experience of team management
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and strong drive to achieve results
  • Problem solving focus, decision-making ability and partnership skills
  • Fluent in German and English
