Bayer Digital Campus Challenge 2021
DCC21 is the sixth outing for our global competition, which invites you to answer the following question: “How digital will Bayer be in 2032?” Everything is still different this year, though. COVID-19 has already changed our lives more than we ever thought it would. But a crisis is also an opportunity. How, for example, can you use machine learning to predict the spread of the infection more accurately or speed up corona testing? How can data science help in the fight against the virus? And how can digital solutions help to improve the health and nutrition situation of all people?
We look forward to receiving your ideas and submissions by November 7, 2021!
With digitalization making its presence felt everywhere, we at Bayer are asking ourselves how we can use new technologies to improve people’s lives. Anyone studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or a PhD in economics, humanities or a STEM subject who has an idea relating to one of the four topics can once again join in with this year’s Digital Campus Challenge.
Topics cover:
- Data Science
- Digital Therapeutics
- Data-Driven Farming
- Cyber Security
In 2021, as in previous years, we’re eager to broaden our range of innovations in digital health. You will be able to sell your idea to Bayer and develop it in collaboration with our team.
Regardless of whether your studies are focused on economics, humanities, IT, engineering, medical informatics, bioinformatics or a similar IT-based field, your ideas matter. Working in teams of two to five, you can give free rein to your creativity and innovative ideas by believing anything is possible.
What can you win?
Once all the ideas have been reviewed by our staff, the four teams deemed to have the most potential will be invited to Leverkusen to pitch in front of a panel of experts. The winning team with the most convincing pitch and the best idea will be rewarded with a trip to a Bayer location beginning with “B” – Berlin, Barcelona or Boston! If the thought of getting close up and personal with Bayer appeals to you, head to the registration page and submit your idea.
