If you are curious to learn more about the research and development journey leading to new treatments to change the world and to get a glimpse on who we are and how we work, we have something for you:
Bayer kindly invites recently graduated, soon to graduate PhD students and postdoctoral scientists conducting research in the field of synthetic organic chemistry physical chemistry, peptide chemistry, chemical biology, colloid sciences, analytical sciences, biotechnology and chemical engineering to participate in our 2020 Postdoc Workshop Chemical R&D @ Bayer.
This workshop will be an excellent occasion to discuss highlights from Bayer’s recent research in the Life Sciences and will provide a platform for participants to present individual scientific results and to explore different types of jobs within the Bayer organization.
Over the next few years, Bayer expects to have a number of openings for talented scientists in its various Research & Development departments around the globe with major hubs being located in Germany and the US. It is Bayer’s intention to attract highly motivated scientists with excellent background in the above mentioned research areas to fill these interesting positions.
Where , When and What?
While past events have been taken place in diverse locations in the US or Germany, the current pandemic is also affecting this event. Thus, we are thrilled to have an exciting workshop carried out virtually.
The event will take place on four dates, specifically on Nov 2, 4, 5 and 6 with a time commitment of approximately 3 hours on each day. In order to facilitate participation from where you are located, the session will start at 5 pm CET. All you need is an IT device equipped with a camera and a microphone.
The event will cover the following aspects:
- Presentations from various functions at Bayer.
- Speed dating sessions with Bayer employees with different levels of expertise and responsibility.
- A virtual poster session in small groups with content provided by you.
- One interdisciplinary workshop | group exercise | break-out session.
