Junior IT Product Manager (m/f/d)
You will become part of a team of product managers in a production IT focused environment. We share a cooperative and motivating work environment. Our IT products are developed by external companies and we take care of the full lifecycle. Your tasks in detail:
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- You work with business unit representatives to develop business strategy requirements, end-user needs, market and competitive conditions
- You assist in defining a digital product vision to design and deliver a differentiating offering
- You participate in continuous innovation activities to evolve the digital product strategy to meet changing business needs or to leverage new technologies that enhance the digital product and deliver better business outcomes
- You work closely as a partner (m/f/d) with software developers, data scientists, designers and other members of the digital product team to manage the development of the digital product
- You create roadmap decisions for digital products and map prioritized items in the digital product backlog, leveraging your deep understanding of business and technical dependencies
- You collaborate with product teams to create a development roadmap that ensures usage and adoption
- Assist in managing stakeholder expectations by preparing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital products
- You ensure appropriate documentation is created to document and support the digital product and leverage user feedback to deliver a better user experience and add value to the business
- You utilize and advocate product management and agile best practices to improve delivery
WHO YOU ARE
- University degree (Bachelor's/Master's) in engineering, IT, computer science, business or related field with first experience as a product manager (m/f/d), product specialist (m/f/d), business analyst (m/f/d) or similar role or first equivalent industry experience or similar role
- Experience in business domain relevant to digital product is desirable
- Several years of experience in agile software development
- You are familiar with the software development lifecycle
- Very good communication, problem solving and decision making skills
- You have the ability to build relationships with development teams and business stakeholders
- Ability to support innovation and forward thinking concepts
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
