IT Infrastructure Architect (m/f/d)
Our Supply Center Bergkamen is the largest Bayer AG site for production of active pharmaceutical ingredients. More than 1,600 employees manufacture steroid hormones, contrast media and intermediates of the highest purity here.
The position of “IT Infrastructure Architect (m/f/d)“ belongs to the Data Platform & Architecture department in the Manufacturing System Technology (MST) area. Key remit of Data Platform & Architecture is to ensure availability of IT infrastructure for the manufacturing and laboratory environment at our production site in Bergkamen, closed to Dortmund and Münster. Your main tasks are:
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervision and further development of the IT infrastructure in a pharmaceutical production environment
• Administration of a rapidly growing system landscape for the digitization of production processes
• Ensure the interoperability of on-premises infrastructures in production areas
• Automation of the complete life cycle of processes and systems
• Contact point for business and expert functions concerning manufacturing IT-topics
• Ensure high quality, availability and performance of IT-infrastructure components
WHO YOU ARE
• University degree in computer science, information technology or related topics or career changer (m/f/d) with many years of practise in related topics
• Excellent knowledge in IT infrastructure in complex environments, especially Microsoft technologies
• Deep knowledge of automation technologies and procedures like Infrastructure as Code
• Fundamental programming skills in one or more languages of the following: Python, JavaScript or Ruby
• Experience in using Siemens MOM solutions (Opcenter) and Siemens process control systems (PCS-7) desirable
• Analytical and strategic mindset
• Your strengths include the ability to work in a team, good communication skills and the ability to solve problems independently
• Sound knowledge of German and English, spoken and written
