Business Analyst (m/f/d)
In Bayer’s global Product Platform Research we thrive to continuously improve our existing product portfolio and create new products that support our scientists in Pharma on their search for new (digital) therapies. We are seeking an excellent Business Analyst (m/f/d) driven by our vision “Health for all, hunger for none”. As Business Analyst (m/f/d) you will be working as part of our DevOps teams sized 4-6 people where you can follow (y)our purpose and grow while working on tough challenges in a global pharma research setting. You will help our developers understand and solve the scientists needs by acting as an interface between science and IT. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- You design, develop, and continuously deliver cutting edge software products in a fast-moving environment of the Pharma business.
- You take decisions to advance product development or team culture in a timely manner
- Identifying the most important problems to solve, minimize scope and assess the value of solutions is part of your daily business
- You shape work for software engineers by translating business problems into hypotheses about true needs
- Moreover, you communicate insights proactively to product team members and stakeholders
- Applying your expertise in natural sciences in mixed teams consisting of IT and R&D experts (biologists/chemists/pharmacologists)
- You develop and execute on visions for products with tangible business impact
- Furthermore, you identify risks and gaps during product development cycles and help design solutions to meet team and product goals
- Promotion of principles behind agile product development practices
WHO YOU ARE
- Master’s degree in natural sciences or an equivalent field of study
- You have already gained several years of professional experience as a Business Analyst (m/f/d) in an agile team
- You have a profound knowledge in principles behind agile and lean as well as hands-on experience with discovery and design of digital products
- Sound knowledge of technology and approaches commonly used in DevOps teams
- Leadership skills and displayed entrepreneurial behavior in your daily work distinguish you
- You are resilient, able to deal with ambiguous situations and you approach challenges from multiple perspectives
- Very good communication skills in English and German, both written and spoken
