Senior Medical Advisor Radiology (m/f/d)

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Contribution and co-development of local product medical strategies for the SBU Radiology portfolio (Bayer Vital  Brand Plan, Country Medical Activitation Plan)

such as support in planning of Global Medical & Clinical Affairs Radiology, Regulatory and country-specific strategies, for the launch of new compounds and life

cycle management of marketed Bayer pharmaceutical products and medical devices

  • Strategic National Thought Leader Engagement planning and execution for Radiology portfolio incorporating regular TL facing visits as well as interactions at

international, regional and national Symposia/Congresses and Advisory Boards

  • Provision of Medical Expertise to SBU Radiology portfolio and close collaboration with Medical Information in answering customer inquiries on specific

radiological topics

  • Studies: IIR Management (Concept, Legal Issues, Medical Scientific Support, Budget tracking) and medical support for BAYER sponsored studies at local Level

(Communicate to investigators, to the Country Medical Director and to the Medical Head of Radiology such as support communication to national and international

authorities e.g BfArM)

  • Preparation, organization and execution of field  and customers training (radiologist, radiological technicians) on our products and specific radiology topics
  • Reviewing medical content for advertising and promotional materials
  • Representation of the Head of Medicine Radiology in the absence




Who you are

  • University degree in Human medicine (state examination) and approbation, preferably board certification in Radiology
  • Several years of medical-scientific working experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development or related

positions; alternatively a specialist background in medical

  • Successful interactions and good relationships with Thought Leaders, Medical and Pharmacy professions and ability to work effectively and well in teams
  • Practice plus clinical study experience
  • Special knowledge in Radiology and preferably experience in Diagnostic Imaging
  • Background and experience in clinical trials (phase II/III/IV, pre-  and post-launch)
  • Excellent communication and presentation  
  • Fluent in English and German - verbally and in writing - skills
