PhD student (m/f/d) Machine Learning in Robotics

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and execute concepts to utilize machine learning in the control of robots in industrial applications
  • Evaluate the opportunity offered by machine learning
  • Coordinate and integrate interns to support and complement the development and testing
  • Take responsibility and cooperate with lab engineers and technicians

 

Who you are

  • University degree (Master/Diploma) in mechanical engineering, computer science or similar
  • Profound experience in machine learning (e.g. part of university studies)
  • Experience in robotics (e.g. project or industry experience)
  • Strong social skills for interaction within the team as well as with customers and partners
  • Strategic thinker (m/f/d) with innovative flair for original thinking in new fields without  established routines and processes
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are beneficial

 

This position is limited for 3 years.
