External Innovation and Alliance Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Identify, scientifically evaluate and prepare decisions for in-licensing of new molecular entities (NMEs) for internal medicine indications and platform technologies for AH and present to upper management to gain support
  • Manage alliances with external innovation partners of in-licensed NMEs to ensure efficient project progress and excellent relationships with external partners
  • Scientifically lead and collaborate closely with involved departments and functions within AH and ensure that all parties involved adhere to timelines and meet critical deadlines
  • Establish comprehensive clinical research plans for for research candidates that meet requirements in Europe, the US and internationally
  • Identify, plan, organize, contract, manage and supervise internal and external resources needed to execute the needed pre-clinical/clinical activities/studies
  • Attend scientific meetings, continuing education courses and keep abreast of professional publications and newest developments in the areas of interest


Who you are

  • Ph.D. in veterinary/human medicine, biology or pharmacology with qualifications and specialized knowledge in internal medicine indications, preferably specialized in veterinary internal medicine
  • Several years of experience in pharmaceutical industry research and project management, preferred in animal health industry
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and networking skills and a strong ability to collaborate with external partners, CROs and thought leaders
  • Willingness and mindset to lead and work in multidisciplinary scientific teams, to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Profound experience in planning, design and coordination of registration relevant in-house and external pre-clinical/clinical studies
  • Excellent presentation skills and fluent in English, both written and spoken
